- Go to europcar.co.uk and enter your pick-up location, return location, and rental dates.
- Choose your vehicle and any extras such as child seats or a sat-nav.
- Fill in your driver details and proceed to the "Review & Pay" page.
- Look for the "Have a coupon?" text and click the dropdown arrow to reveal the input field.
- Type in your code and click Apply.
- Check the discount has been applied to your total before confirming payment.
Most codes cannot be combined with other offers or contractual rates. If a code is not working, check it hasn't expired and that your booking meets any minimum rental length requirement.
The most common discount going is 10% off Prestige Collection bookings, Europcar's luxury car hire service in London, offering Bentley, Porsche, Ferrari and high-end Mercedes models.

Once you’ve signed up, you earn 1 point for every £1 spent, moving you up through four loyalty tiers, each unlocking more as you go:
- Discover (0 to 999 points): 10% off car hire, special offers, up to 15% off at Accor hotels
- Traveller (1,000 to 2,999 points): everything in Discover, plus 10% more points earned
- Adventurer (3,000 to 9,999 points): everything in Traveller, plus 20% more points, a vehicle category upgrade, free additional driver and priority desk attention
- Navigator (10,000+ points): everything in Adventurer, plus 30% more points, a double vehicle category upgrade and access to premium events
Points and benefits can be earned and redeemed across the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Belgium, Luxembourg, Australia, New Zealand, Austria and Switzerland.
You’ll also pick up surprise rewards at certain milestones, such as 300, 500, 800 or 1,000 points, sometimes worth money off, other times a free extra like an additional driver. Extra points are up for grabs too, for joining (100 points), using online check-in (50 points), or renting an electric vehicle (150 points).
If you’re already a loyalty member with another car hire company, it’s worth contacting Europcar directly, since they may match your existing status rather than starting you from scratch at Discover.
First order discount
If you’re only planning to rent once and don’t want to commit to a loyalty scheme, subscribing to the Europcar newsletter gets you a 10% discount code for your first booking, along with updates on future deals if you do end up renting again.
Business discount
Business members can save up to 10% on all business bookings, choosing between the Business Hire Club, Business Hire Essentials or Business Hire Plus+, depending on what your business needs.
Alongside the discount, you’ll get access to a wider range of insurance options, payment on account, a dedicated account manager, and more. Europcar can arrange a call to talk through which plan and rates suit you best.
Country specific offers
Some of the best savings at Europcar come from country specific sales. Right now, that includes up to 20% off car hire in France, Spain, Italy and Hungary, and 15% off in Croatia, Finland, Australia or New Zealand.
Just make sure to check the terms and conditions on rental periods, since many countries require a minimum booking of at least 5 days.
Student and graduate discounts
Through Student Beans, students and recent graduates can get up to 15% off car hire, with students also getting up to 7.5% off van hire, handy if you’re moving into a new flat.
One thing worth flagging: it looks like Europcar has recently pulled the graduate discount. It’s still listed on their offers page, but clicking through currently leads to a page stating there’s no graduate discount available, so we’d treat that one as no longer active until it’s confirmed otherwise.

Pay in advance for extra savings
Paying in advance rather than at pick up can save you more, with up to 10% off across Europcar’s packages:
- Standard: £2,500 excess, with free cancellation up to 48 hours before pick up
- Comfort: no excess
- Comfort+: no excess, plus extras like roadside assistance, personal belongings protection and cover for windscreens, glass and tyres
Paying online also unlocks Europcar Light plans, essentially the standard package but non-refundable and non-amendable. It can save upwards of £10 a day compared with paying for standard in person.
Delivery and collection services
Europcar will deliver your vehicle to you, or collect it, from £25 each way. Cars can be delivered within 2 hours of booking, vans within 4 hours, and business bookings within 24 hours.
